About our program
Sigué Urugendo (Continue the Journey) was founded with a simple but powerful mission: to share God’s love through the beautiful game of soccer. We believe soccer is more than a sport — it is a universal language that unites people of all backgrounds, cultures, and ages. Through the structure, discipline, teamwork, and joy that soccer provides, we see an incredible opportunity to speak into the lives of youth with hope, faith, and purpose.
Our ministry combines high-quality athletic training with a Christ-centered mentoring approach. We equip young players not only with soccer skills but also with spiritual guidance and positive character-building lessons. Our coaching staff, volunteers, and mentors invest in each participant personally, modeling values of respect, perseverance, compassion, and leadership.
Sigué Urugendo has worked to create a welcoming, supportive environment where every child feels seen, valued, and loved. Whether on the field, in prayer circles, or through community service, our focus is on nurturing the whole person — body, mind, and spirit — to empower youth to become leaders in their families, churches, and communities.
Our vision
Looking ahead, we envision a thriving, Christ-driven community center where children and families are supported through year-round programs that nurture the body, mind, and spirit. We are committed to expanding our reach and deepening community connections by introducing music programs where youth can grow in worship and express their faith creatively. These programs will also include community-wide worship nights and events that draw people together in praise.
With a dedicated facility , we aim to offer consistent, high-quality programs that serve all ages. Our dream is to become a trusted hub for soccer excellence—a place of worship, unity, and transformation. Through faith, sport, and music, we seek to be a light that brings our community together and glorifies God in all we do.
